Gaming the Q
Good news my fellow MotoQusers! Motorola announced a new program MOTODEV Game Developer Challenge, “a competition that will reward two talented MOTODEV developers with the rare opportunity to have their winning applications published by mobile entertainment company and contest title sponsor, I-play.” This is welcome news.
Of course, it’s not necessary to win the contest to get the attention of Q users. We’ll try just about any Windows Mobile application. My daughter loves the tanagram app I placed on my phone. It’s a lot quieter than the bubble breaker and challenges her mind. I recently tried downloading a free 3D Golf game for the Mobile OS. While I was able to install it, it failed to run on the Q. Perhaps the Motorola contest will inspire exciting games that will serve to further distract us when we tire of listening to music on the Q.
